21696 185th Street, Council Bluffs IA 51503

Some homes you sell on square footage. This one you sell on the view. Perched on one of the highest points in southwest Iowa, this 2,800 sq ft ranch — 3 bedrooms plus a non-conforming 4th — commands 3.78 acres and a view that’s only changed hands twice in 150 years. Loess Hills roll out one way, the downtown Omaha skyline glows the other. Pictures don’t come close. Fully redone in 2014 with a new roof in 2025, so the acreage and the view come with zero project list. Solid oak doors, wood floors throughout, a double-sided fireplace anchoring the living space, and an epoxy-coated garage floor. Hard-surfaced road, tucked between Council Bluffs and Crescent. Country quiet, city close.
